L-R Symposium promo - 2025

BBI is one again presenting the annual Long-Read Sequencing Symposium on September 16th, 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a poster session from 11:45 to 12:50. The symposium will be held at the UW in Foege Hall South, 3720 15th Ave NE, Seattle. Visit Redcap for more information and to register; registration closes September 5th at 12 noon.

“This year, we are building on the successes of previous symposia, including a full day’s agenda and a poster session,” said Danny Miller, M.D., Ph.D., who leads BBI’s long-read sequencing program. “The momentum for wider use of long-read sequencing and collaboration among researchers and clinicians is growing in the Puget Sound.”

That momentum is reflected in the speakers selected for the program. Presenters include scientists and researchers from BBI’s three partner organizations – UW Medicine, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, and Seattle Children’s – as well as representatives of the three sponsors of event: Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Pacific Biosciences, and Integra Biosciences.
